So Long, Friend

I know it's a little pathetic to be overly sad about the "end" of a fictional television show, but it's been a great run. Tonight, after seven years, Michael Scott walks away from The Office. Although the show will limp on for another year or two, this is certainly the true end of a show that has been so good, and so funny, for so long. It's provided hundreds of laughs over the years and has often been a hilariously priceless break from the "real world." In fact, one of the best days of my life was one special lazy Saturday when I watched 19 episodes of The Office in a single day.

So, Michael Scott, thanks for the memories. It's been a long and fun ride.
