The Law Suit

I've got a new favorite tradition. Once a week, despite rocking out in a business casual world, I don the suit.

The law suit.

To be honest, this tradition was largely inspired to help justify the purchase of more suits. However, it is also a whole lotta fun to get extra spiffy once a week, to put on the cufflinks, pocket square, and skinny tie...and then uncomfortably sit in my warmer-than-usual office for a solid ten hours.

That's my new favorite tradition?

No doubt.

However, this new tradition is also a bit strategic since my suit wearing days help build up my account of "over-dressing" points, which I will happily be cashing in once the spring/summer fully hits and the yellow/pink/green/red/seersucker pants start to make their numerous, and glorious, appearances.

Lastly, here are my new babies:

First Bonobos suit (thanks, Living Social!):

Still waiting for the mailman to drop off this goodness (the suit, of course):

My birthday (Express) suit, which set me back only two figures due to a beautiful combination of gift cards and coupons:

(of course, my pants are not this "baggy")

(ps-this dude needs to go down a jacket size.)

I'm kind of bummed that the world has gone business casual. The main reason I was considering a job in business or law is the opportunity to wear a suit.
